HOLIDAY AND GATHERING of year 2020 As long as I can remember, we always celebrate Thanks Giving and Christmas with family and friends. Immediate, extended relatives. From Grand parents to grand children. A lot of us residing from different state, town and country, Holidays and special events brings everyone together to reconnect and bond.
This year celebration is far different than usual. Pandemic makes it a little harder to function as we normally used to be. A national locked down and a home quarantined holiday! Holiday travel schedules were cancelled. This time of the year there is no big gathering allowed, just a small a celebration with the immediate family who are in the same household. Church worship and activities are cancelled too, so does one of my favorite shows of the year, THANKS GIVING PARADE, of course Christmas, birthday and wedding gathering that it's been on scheduled for a year and have been planning about were being cancelled too. All are being in placed of and channelled to virtual communication and live streams to reach each others. Some of us dropped bags of food and groceries to family and neighbor's door and waved 'Hi' while they are watching over their windows .๐ Texting and calling is one of the best way for immediate communication process without wearing a mask,๐ [as long as there Is a signal] Meeting others with limits and boundaries, choosing only to do activities outside maintaining six feet distance and wearing mask. No one knows how long this disrupted phase of covid-19 economy will last, however in every aspect, we do need a plan to meet the purpose. Everyone has an ability to meet the purpose and goals. And have responsibilities to do the tasks for beneficial impact and for common good.
We sure missed the big family gathering and friends but it's important to be safe.
Have I not commanded you ? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." [Joshua 1:9].
A flock of wild turkey gathering๐๐
